Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro (Hydro) is advising customers in South East Bight that power will remain off overnight.

Crews have been investigating this outage throughout the day, caused by weather conditions in the area. To help restore power as soon as safely possible, crews will fly into the area by helicopter in the morning to patrol the line and determine the extent of repairs needed. At that time we will have a better idea of the estimated restoration time for customers.

There are approximately 60 customers impacted by this outage.
