New Customer
To set up a new residential or business service, including new site set-ups, construction of electrical facilities, and existing service upgrades, call or email us to open an account.
New construction? Get in touch as soon as possible, so we can complete a technical assessment.
If your home is located beyond our existing distribution system, we’ll assess your request and provide you with a written quote if there are extra service charges. See our Contribution In Aid of Construction Policy for more information.
Move Your Service
Planning a move and want to keep your existing account? You can use myNLHydro to arrange your move or give us a call or send us an email. Don’t forget to give us at least 48 business hours to make sure you’re ready to go in your new home.
Cancel Your Service
Do you need to permanently cancel your service? To make sure that’s done on time for you, please complete and sign our cancellation form and return by email or fax (709.570.5937). Please note we need at least 10 business days to process a cancellation request.
