Red Bay customers now transferred from emergency supply back onto local system
Good afternoon Red Bay.
Earlier this afternoon, the new line was energized and all customers reconnected to the system. While we were pleased our team took urgent action and all customers were connected to an emergency power supply within 32 hours, we know customers were eager to see a permanent solution in place – it’s been a long 77 hours for everyone. This effort truly took a village, so thank you to all, customers, crews, businesses, contractors, for coming together for Red Bay.
We are proud today of our incredible teams from the boots on the ground to all those supporting from the sidelines. We would also like to acknowledge those who came together to assist the Hydro Team. We could not have done this without your support.
