Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro is issuing a public advisory to residents, cabin owners and travelers in the area of Goose Pond, located near Howley in Western Newfoundland.

Through the normal operation of the Hinds Lake Generating Facility, there may be an increase in water flow downstream of the Goose Pond Dam until the end of November.

The public is advised to use caution when in the vicinity of Goose Pond and Little Goose Pond and associated/connected waterways.
