October 1, 2026
Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro is informing customers in Rocky Harbour and Norris Point of two planned outages taking place this week.
These outages are required for our teams to complete replacement of a power transformer in the Rocky Harbour terminal station, and return the station to normal configuration.
The outages are scheduled for Wednesday October 7 from 4:30pm to 5:00pm and Thursday October 7, from 3:00pm to 7:00pm, pending suitable weather conditions.
For your safety and convenience: to complete this work in a safe and timely manner, there will be additional Hydro crews in the area, and residents and visitors are asked to please be aware of work activity, crews, equipment and vehicles during the outages.
