Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro would like to advise the public of planned bridge repairs and maintenance along the Labrador Island Link access corridor in Western Newfoundland and along Taylor’s Brook Access Road in Central Newfoundland starting in late August 2026, subject to weather conditions and operational requirements.

The work includes repairs and upgrades to bridge structures to help maintain safe and reliable access to Hydro’s electricity equipment and lines and extend the service life of existing bridges and infrastructure.

Potential impacts may include:

• Construction personnel and equipment will be operating along the corridor
• Temporary access limitations at specific bridge locations while work is underway

Hydro and its contractors will work to minimize disruptions and maintain safe access wherever practical.
