On Thursday, September 5, crews will begin to dismantle the transmission line L1301 and its structures as this line is no longer required. This work was started in 2023 and is now resuming for 2024.

Work is expected to take place between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. daily into November, as weather permits.

Public travelling in the area, which begins 140 km east of Churchill Falls, may see an increase in traffic including heavy equipment and trailers. Please use caution if you are travelling in the area and follow the guidance of onsite traffic control.

There is no risk to public safety and no impact to power supply or Hydro operations.
