Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro would like to advise the public of work on the Buchans Forebay Dam starting Thursday, September 4. This work is part of a dam upgrades project to extend the life of the dam and is anticipated be completed by late October. 

People travelling in the area of the Buchans Rail Trail and Lake Road may see an increase in traffic including heavy equipment and trailers.
