Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro (Hydro) is advising of major maintenance activities at the Bay d’Espoir Switchyard starting Tuesday, May 5, 2015. The work is expected to be completed over a period of four days (weather pending).

There are no planned customer impacts. This work, as with all planned maintenance work, has been carefully evaluated to eliminate or minimize potential customer impact. Hydro will provide an update on Wednesday.

As a precautionary measure, Hydro would like to remind customers of the importance of being prepared and staying safe in the event of outages.
