Line returned to service
Repairs were made to the transmission line and it was returned to service Tuesday evening (Aug. 29) at approximately 7:15 p.m.

Equipment Advisory: Sunnyside-to-Western Avalon transmission line out of service

Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro advises that a transmission line between Sunnyside and Western Avalon terminal station is currently offline. A piece of construction equipment came in contact with the line resulting in damage.

There are no customer impacts as a result.

Repair and restoration time is being assessed and updates will be provided as more information is available.
