Outage Update: Rocky Harbour and Norris Point
August 11, 2026
Update (9:50 p.m., August 11) – The backup transformer arrived in Rocky Harbour around 9 p.m. but unfortunately experienced delays along the way. Crews are now working to unload and safely install the equipment. Once that work is complete later tonight, we will begin restoring power for customers. However, with this delay in the arrival of the transformer, we are now estimating power restoration at 3 a.m.
We recognize the impact this outage has had on customers and sincerely appreciate your understanding while crews work to resolve the issues at the terminal station.
