Hydro is advising customers in Rocky Harbour and Norris Point that unfortunately power will remain off overnight tonight.

This outage is due to damage on electrical equipment (transformer) caused by wildlife, at our terminal station in Rocky Harbour. Crews have been troubleshooting and working on repairs throughout the day, however, additional work will be needed throughout the night based on the extent of repairs required.

At this time, we estimate that power will be restored by noon tomorrow (Tuesday, August 11).  We will provide an update in the morning as more details are available.
