How you can help keep employees safe during this challenging time

At Hydro, we have many people doing critical work to ensure we provide the reliable electricity you need – now more than ever.
We’re taking a number of steps to ensure the safety of our employees and our customers as these activities resume. However, we need your help to keep everyone safe.

Please remember to practice physical distancing from our team members while they carry out their work to provide electricity to customers throughout the province.

At Your Home
Keep the door closed when your meter reader is on the property. A wave from the window is always appreciated but, please avoid personally greeting them up close.

In the Community
If you see a Hydro truck, crew, or worker near power lines or equipment, please keep a distance of at least two metres (six feet) from them, crossing the street or waiting for a safe time to pass by. Practice physical distancing and follow all other measures that have been implemented for your health and safety.

Let’s all do our part to keep each other safe. Thank you for your cooperation and continued understanding. If you’d like to learn more about how we’re responding, visit nlhydro.com/covid-19-information-and-updates.
