This July, our Hydro Place IDEA Ambassadors proudly hosted a Multicultural Fair, bringing employees together to celebrate some of the diverse cultures that make up our Hydro team. The event saw strong engagement from various departments and created space for learning, connection, and shared experiences.

Employees took part in a lively round of Multicultural Trivia, enjoyed traditional henna art by Khadiga Yahya, and were treated to a high‑energy performance by Bollywood Jig. Representatives from the Fung Loy Kok Institute of Taoism also joined the celebration, offering a Tai Chi class that invited participants to learn, move, and reflect together.

Food played a central role in the celebration, with a variety of flavours and dishes provided by Andaluzia Market, Mamacita Mexican Kitchen, Latin Market, and Grilleopatra, giving employees the opportunity to sample and appreciate cuisines from different cultures.

The Multicultural Fair was a meaningful way to recognize and celebrate the diversity within our workplace, reinforcing our commitment to inclusion and belonging. We look forward to seeing this initiative continue to grow in the years ahead as we celebrate the many cultures, perspectives, and experiences that strengthen Hydro.
