Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro is advising customers that the transmission line from Churchill Falls to Happy Valley will be taken out of service from approximately 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 16, 2017.

This outage is necessary to repair a cracked pole and complete other required maintenance work.

No customer impacts are anticipated, as back-up generation will be in use in Happy Valley-Goose Bay. Customers are, however, reminded that it is always advisable to be prepared for potential outages.
