Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro is advising that a generating unit (Unit 7) at the Bay d’Espoir Generating Plant has been removed from service to complete necessary repairs.

Generation reserves are sufficient and there is no anticipated customer impact as a result of this work.

This advisory is part of Hydro’s commitment to keep customers informed on the status of the electricity system.
