Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro is advising the public of increased vehicle and heavy equipment use on the Upper Salmon Access Road near St. Alban’s.

From approximately November 22 to December 20, 2024, construction work will be ongoing at the Salmon River Spillway which will result in increased activity in the area and will require personnel and equipment to travel to and from the site regularly, on both weekdays and weekends, via the Upper Salmon Access Road. Road use will not be restricted; however due to increased activity, there may be some instances where traffic is delayed as equipment moves through.

Hydro reminds property owners and other users of the access road to please be aware of increased activity, heed traffic and construction signs, and use caution during this period.
