Refreshing Our Diversity and Inclusion Brand

At Hydro, we refreshed our diversity and inclusion brand to IDEA – Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Accessibility – to better reflect the full scope of work underway across our organization. The updated brand brings inclusion to the forefront, reinforces our commitment to equity, and more clearly highlights the role accessibility plays in building a workplace where everyone can participate and succeed.

This refresh aligns with our corporate values and planning priorities, including our Strategic Plan and Accessibility Plan, and helps ensure IDEA considerations are woven through day-to-day decision-making – from how we communicate and collaborate, to how we design processes, policies and spaces. It also supports our goal of fostering a culture of inclusion and belonging, where people feel safe bringing their whole selves to work.

Creating an inclusive, diverse, equitable and accessible workplace is a shared responsibility. While no one is expected to have all the answers, we are all expected to keep learning, to be respectful in our interactions, and to help identify and remove barriers where we see them. Through IDEA, we will continue to strengthen our workplace culture and support better outcomes for our people and the communities we serve.
