Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro would like to advise the public that beginning the week of September 22, site clearing and other civil works in connection with the Avalon Combustion Turbine Project will be taking place on Hydro property at the Holyrood Thermal Generation Station site.

The map below indicates the approximate work area which will be an active construction zone until further notice. To ensure the safety and protection of the public, as well as workers onsite, ATV and walking trails within the outlined work area will no longer be accessible.

Please be aware of increased activity in the area as materials and equipment are brought on and off the site. Remember to heed traffic and construction signs and use caution.
