Hydro’s Community Champion Network 

At Hydro, we’re fortunate to have employees who work and live in cities, towns and communities in every corner of Newfoundland and Labrador. Through our Energy from the Heart (EFTH) Community Investment Program, we work to support organizations throughout the province that are important to us and our employees.

Led by a steering committee including our EFTH team and Gail Collins, VP and Corporate Affairs, our Community Champions Network brings together employees from many regions of the province with the common goal of promoting Hydro’s community program to their colleagues, sharing ideas for volunteering and fundraising opportunities and championing causes in their area.

These local champions help organize everything from our annual Acts of Kindness Week, Santa Claus parades, Red Shoe Crew Walks in support of Ronald McDonald House and donation drives.
