Level 2 Charger Rebates available for up to 50% of total eligible expenditures, to a maximum of $5,000 per charger. Limit of up to 10 sites and a maximum of 19 Level 2 chargers.
Level 3 Direct Current Fast Charger 20 kW to 49 kW: Rebates available for up to 50% of total eligible expenditures, to a maximum of $15,000 per fast charger (limit of six chargers per applicant). 50 kW & above: Rebates available for up to 50% of total eligible expenditures, to a maximum of $50,000 per fast charger (limit of one charger per applicant).
Projects must be completed no later than 4 months following pre-approval or November 15, 2024, whichever is sooner. Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro will contact you via email regarding your application status and next steps. When pre-approval has been granted by Hydro, applicants will be required to sign a contribution agreement prior to installing the charger(s). Once the contribution agreement is signed, the charger can be installed as per the provided quotes.
