Holyrood Unit 2 has been returned to service as scheduled.

Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro is advising that a generating unit (Unit 2) at the Holyrood Thermal Generating Station will be removed from service this evening for a period of 24 hours to complete maintenance work.

Generation reserves are sufficient and there is no customer impact as a result of this work.
