Hydro has received notice of charges from Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) in connection with the tragic incident that occurred in August 2023 at our Holyrood Terminal Station, which resulted in the death of an employee.

We have fully cooperated with the OHS investigation and provided all requested information.
We are currently reviewing the charges and will address them through the appropriate court process.

The safety of our employees and contractors remains Hydro’s highest priority. We will continue to work hard every day to live our values and support our safety culture, where employees know we have the right processes and protections to keep them safe, where employees feel they can speak up when they see something, and where every person goes home safely to their families each day.

This tragedy, involving one of our own, continues to weigh heavily on all of us at Hydro.
