Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro is advising that Unit 2 at the Holyrood plant has been returned to service.

It was taken offline shortly after midnight due to an oil leak. Repairs were completed and the unit was brought back online at 5:20 a.m. this morning. There were no customer impacts.

This advisory is part of Hydro’s commitment to keep customers informed on the status of the electricity system and significant system events.
