Update on Power Outages – November 21, 4:30 pm
November 21, 2013 – Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro is continuing to deal with extended outages in communities in Central Newfoundland and the Northern Peninsula.
Currently, approximately 2000 customers are still without power.
Power is expected to be restored to all customers on the Northern Peninsula and in several communities in Central Newfoundland, tonight. There are approximately 200 customers in the communities of Miles Cove, Langdon’s Cove, Jackson’s Cove and Robert’s Arm, who will not have power restored until tomorrow.

Hydro has not identified any major damage to equipment at this point. Restoration is delayed due to continuing poor weather conditions in many areas. Additional crews have been brought in from other Hydro service areas to assist in restoration efforts.
