Spill Update: No longer spilling at Star Lake Area

Update:

Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro is advising residents, cabin owners and travellers in the Star Lake area in Central Newfoundland that the Company is no longer to releasing water at Star Lake Spillway into Star Brook and then Red Indian Lake, but there is a potential for additional releases later.

People are advised to use these areas with great caution as water levels and flows are unpredictable.
