Public Safety Advisory Updated – July 25, 2013
July 25, 2013 –Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro is advising residents, cabin owners and travelers that higher than normal water levels continue in many of its reservoir systems.
Controlled water releases from the Victoria Dam Spillway into the Victoria River in south western Newfoundland have stopped for now, but could start again at any time. People are advised to use this area with great caution as water levels are higher than normal.
