August 26, 2013

August 26, 2013 – Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro is reminding residents, cabin owners and travelers that water levels in many of its reservoirs are higher than normal for this time of year.
Controlled releases continue in the Upper Salmon area of Central Newfoundland. The Company is releasing water from its North Salmon Dam Spillway into the North Salmon River.
The potential for release at Cat Arm Spillway is over for now.
People are advised to use reservoir areas with great caution as water levels and flows are higher than normal and may be unpredictable.
