Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro Public Safety Advisory

December 23, 2013 – Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro is advising residents, cabin owners and travellers that reservoir levels and channel flows are still high at its facilities but the potential for releases of water have ended for the time being. People are reminded that water levels and flows around hydroelectric facilities are always unpredictable and these areas should be used with extreme caution at all times.
