Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro is advising residents, cabin owners and travellers that releases of water are occurring.

In the Upper Salmon area of Central Newfoundland, the Company is releasing water at North Salmon Dam Spillway into the North Salmon River.

In the Jackson’s Arm and White Bay area on Newfoundland’s Great Northern Peninsula, the Company may begin to release water at the Cat Arm Spillway into the Cat Arm River

People are advised to continue to use reservoir areas with great caution as water levels and flows are higher than normal and unpredictable.
