Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro is advising the public that the return to below zero temperatures has reduced inflows to its reservoirs. Therefore the Company does not see the potential for controlled releases being required at any of its facilities in the near future.

As always, people are advised to use the areas around hydroelectric reservoirs and plants with great caution as water levels and flows are always unpredictable.
