Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro, is advising residents that it will be lowering water levels through Bishop’s Falls by four feet starting on February 16^th, 2015.

People crossing the river upstream of the dam should take notice of the ice conditions as they may become unstable as a result of the lowering water level.

People should exercise extreme caution. This condition will exist until all the ice has gone out of the river.
