Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro (Hydro) is advising customers that the repair to unit one at the Holyrood Generating Plant is complete and it has been returned to service. Crews continued to work overnight executing a careful plan to bring the unit back in a slow and controlled manner to ensure integrity of the unit. Hydro has power to meet customer needs with strong reserves.

Our 24-7 Energy Control Centre is monitoring the system and we will continue to update our customers of any system changes.
