Diesel Plant operators were able to bring all diesel units up and restore all customers in the southern Labrador communities of L’Anse Amour, English Point, Buckle’s Point, Forteau, L’Anse au Clair, L’Anse au Loup, West St. Modeste, Capstan Island, L’Anse au Diable, Pinware, Red Bay and Organ’s Island just after 8:00p.m.

Rotating outages will no longer be required at this time.

Severe weather, snow and high winds, is impacting Hydro Quebec’s ability to restore their transmission line. Therefore, the supply from Hydro Quebec is not expected to be restored until tomorrow.
