Power has been restored to all customers (approximately 1700) in the communities of Mings Bight, Woodstock, Pacquet, Smiths Harbour, Shoe Cove, Snooks Arm, Tilt Cove, LaScie, Round Harbour, Smiths Harbour, Burlington, Middle Arm, Brent’s Cove, Harbour Round, and Nippers Harbour.

Customers lost power at approximately 12:45 pm on Sunday. Line crews did not find any issues with the lines, so a terminal crew was dispatched from Bishop’s Falls to examine the switchyard.

A problem was identified with a pressure switch on the transformer protection relays. Power was restored at approximately 1:00 am.
