February 16, 2015 – 12:20 AM – Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro is currently reporting outages caused by the continuing winter storm conditions being experienced across the province.

Approximately 180 Hydro customers in Monkstown, Petit Forte, and South East Bight are without power due to an issue with the transmission line, caused by storm conditions.  Approximately 1600 Newfoundland Power customers on the Burin Peninsula are also impacted by this issue.  Crews have been dispatched to investigate.

Approximately 660 Hydro customers in Rocky Harbour are without power due to storm conditions.  Crews will be mobilized as soon as weather conditions allow.

Approximately 770 Hydro customers in Cow Head, Parson’s Pond, St. Paul’s and Sally’s Cove are without power due to storm conditions. Crews will be mobilized as soon as weather conditions allow.
