Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro (Hydro) is advising of planned maintenance work on transmission lines on the Avalon Peninsula over the next several weeks.

There are no anticipated customer impacts related to this preventative maintenance work. However, as a precautionary measure, Hydro would like to remind customers of the importance of being prepared and staying safe in the event of outages.

This work, as with all planned maintenance work, has been carefully evaluated to eliminate or minimize potential customer impact and is essential to protect and maintain the integrity of the provincial power system.
