Advance Notification Protocol
We have three levels of alerts to advise our customers of the province’s power supply status so that all Newfoundlanders and Labradorians can be better prepared for any potential impact. This is just part of a larger effort to keep our you—our friends, family, neighbours, and customers—better informed about the inner workings of our provincial electricity grid. We use this alert system for our customers on the Island Interconnected grid and in Labrador East (Upper Lake Melville area).
