Hydro is advising customers on the Baie Verte Peninsula of a planned outage today in order for emergency repairs to be made to a damaged Newfoundland Power transmission line. The outage will be from approximately 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. today (Oct. 25) and will affect communities on the Baie Verte Peninsula, including :

• Nipper’s Harbour

• Round Harbour

• Smith’s Harbour
• Tilt Cove
• Woodstock
• Westport
• Purbeck’s Cove
