Hydro launches “myhydro” to better serve customers
Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro (Hydro) has launched a new mobile and web portal platform to better serve our customers.
“myhydro” provides up-to-date account information and enhanced self-service options. Customers in Hydro service areas will now be able to access their electricity account anytime, anywhere, and on any device.
Registered users, both residential and business customers, can easily and conveniently:
- View account balance, payment history, and set up payment options online.
- Subscribe to text and email notifications for planned and unplanned power outages.
- View and report power outages online.
- Subscribe to payment reminders via text and email notifications.
- Sign up for paperless e-billing and pre-authorized payments.
- Track and manage electricity usage in easy-to-read charts, set budget goals, compare power usage year- over -year, or against the average usage of area residents.
- Submit a service request, report a damaged pole, or enter your meter reading.
Hydro is the primary generator of electricity in the province. We also distribute power directly to 38,000 customers in coastal parts of the island and throughout Labrador.
