Hydro Employee Matching Form

Whether it’s a big or small deed, helping with an immediate crisis or long-term community initiative, our employees are there to lend a hand however they can. Through our Energy to Give program, we recognize employees and teams who volunteer in their communities by matching funds they raise for charity groups, or making a donation toward non-profit organizations where they regularly volunteer.

Before you apply, please note:

To be eligible for a matching donation, organizations must be an eligible Canadian registered charity.
Volunteering and fundraising must be completed in the same year that you are applying for matching funds.
Matching donations are available to all employees of Hydro on a first-come, first-served basis throughout the year.
Employees can apply once per year for both a fundraising and volunteer matching contribution.

Matching Donations

Fundraising
We will match the following amounts raised by Hydro employees for registered charities:

Minimum	$100
Maximum donation (individual)	$500
Maximum donation (team)	$1500

Volunteering
Matching donations for volunteer activities are based on the number of hours employees or teams volunteer per initiative or charity:

1-10 hours	$100
10-25 hours	$250
25+ hours	$500

*For team activities, include the total number of hours for all members combined.
