Thanks for supporting our employees and their families

July 9, 2024

On June 19, when our employees and their families had to evacuate their homes in Churchill Falls because of a wildfire, more than 600 people took to the road not knowing what the days ahead would bring.

For the next two weeks, communities, groups and organizations opened their doors and their hearts to the people of Churchill Falls.

While the wildfire spread, crews from across the country came to Labrador to help keep our community safe. In Happy Valley-Goose Bay and Labrador City volunteers offered beds, meals, homes for pets, clothing and comfort.

You welcomed and supported the people of Churchill Falls as if they were your own, and we will be forever grateful for your kindness.
