July 3, 2015 – Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro (Hydro) is advising of required planned maintenance activities on the transmission line from Churchill Falls servicing Happy Valley Goose Bay, on Saturday, June 4 from 8:00AM to 8:00PM.

The Happy Valley Goose Bay gas turbine will provide back up generation to the area; therefore there are no customer impacts expected as a result of this work.

As a precautionary measure, Hydro would like to remind customers of the importance of being prepared and staying safe in the event of outages.
