Nov 22 – Update:  Maintenance on Unit 3 has been completed. All three units are now online and available to the system.

Nov 17 – Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro (Hydro) is advising that Unit 3 at the Holyrood Thermal Generating Station has been taken offline today for additional maintenance.

Units 1 and 2 have completed all  annual maintenance and are available to the system

Hydro has sufficient generation reserves and there is no customer impact from this equipment outage.

Hydro’s equipment maintenance is a critical part of ensuring the delivery of safe, reliable electricity service to customers. All planned system outages are evaluated to eliminate or minimize potential customer impacts.

Any changes to the status of the electricity system and or any significant system events will be communicated to customers.
