Update – October 15 – Holyrood Unit 2 has been returned to service.

Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro is advising that a generating unit (Unit 2) at the Holyrood Thermal Generating Station will be removed from service this evening until this weekend  to complete maintenance work.

Generation reserves are sufficient and there is no customer impact as a result of this work.
