Update – The Hardwoods Gas Turbine was returned to service as scheduled.

Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro is advising that the Hardwoods Gas Turbine will be removed from service today to complete planned maintenance work. The unit is expected to be returned to service this afternoon.

Generation reserves are sufficient and there is no customer impact as a result of this work.
