Update (Mar. 2, 9:00 a.m.): The combustion turbine at the Holyrood plant has been returned to service.

Previous Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro (Hydro) is advising customers that the combustion turbine at the Holyrood plant has been removed from service to complete maintenance work, and is expected to return to service tomorrow night (March 2, 2017).

There is no anticipated customer impact at this time. However, Hydro is monitoring the system closely and will advise of any change.

This advisory is part of Hydro’s ongoing commitment to keep customers informed on the status of the electricity system and significant system events.
