We’re helping EV drivers get rolling across this great province. After all, road trips are all about recharging.

Fast Charging Network

The province’s network of fast EV charging stations continues to expand. In 2021 we completed the province’s first fast-charging network for EVs with 14 charging stations from St. John’s to Port aux Basques. Currently, work is underway to install an additional 19 stations in more locations around the province in 2022. These new chargers are being installed through takeCharge (a joint partnership between Hydro and Newfoundland Power) and will help make it even easier for EV drivers to charge on the go in Newfoundland and Labrador.
