Demobilization of Equipment in Long Range Mountains near Hampden

Work in the Long Range Mountains  (72 km in Taylor’s Brook Road near Hampden) is nearing completion. Please be advised that we are expecting that demobilization of some equipment will begin on Sunday, December 11.

For the safety of residents and crews, we are asking the public not park on Taylor’s Book access road between 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Sunday, December 11 and Monday, December 12. There will be heavy equipment with wide loads travelling the road.

Snow clearing operations will also cease after all equipment has been removed from the area.
