Hydro is advising the public of construction activity at and around the Ebbegunbaeg control structure (at the head of Meelpaeg Reservoir) in central Newfoundland. For your safety and the safety of workers, please do not enter construction zones, and stay clear of construction equipment and work activities, which will be ongoing to the end of October or later.

Ebbegunbaeg is an operating hydroelectric structure and people should at all times avoid fishing or other recreational activity near the structure, as safety hazards exist.
