Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro is advising residents, cabin owners and travellers in the Jackson’s Arm and White Bay areas on Newfoundland’s Great Northern Peninsula that the Company is no longer releasing water at the Cat Arm Spillway into the Cat Arm River, however any rain in the area could lead to a requirement for further releases.

People are advised to use the area with great caution as water levels and flows are unpredictable.
